Saturday August 11^th we’ll be racing to Northport for the first time in several years. We’re being hosted by the Northport Bay Yacht Club and we’ll be joined by boats from Charlevoix Yacht Club. The last leg of Saturday’s race will also be the last leg for the boats coming from Charlevoix, the plan is that we’ll each take our times rounding a mark near Gull Island and then compile the results and have two races in one: (a race for the TC-Northport Boats and a race from a mark outside of Northport for competitors from both clubs). The NOR is HERE!

Saturday night, we’ll have a BBQ at the marina in Northport, we’ll provide an entrée from the grill and each boat can bring a dish to share. 

Sunday we’ll race back to GTYC where we’ll join the festivities at the club for Coast Guard Appreciation Day. There will be dinner at the club following our arrival home. We would like to invite the station members to join our boats for the race down from Northport. If you have room for an extra hand let me know (jimsorbie@centurytel.net) and we’ll hook you with a service member to crew for you that day. If you don’t have room, make some and join the fun!
