2019 Elections

For Flag Officers & Board of Directors

Concluding Friday, September 20th, 6:30 pm

Electronic Ballots and Instructions have been sent to all members eligible to vote.

Each membership has one vote in accordance with their class of membership. Active Members & dues-paying Life members each have one vote per membership. All classes of Associates (including Associates, Junior members, Honorary members, and non-dues paying Life members) have a collective vote, meaning the tally of their total vote will be counted as one vote equal to that of a Full member.

If members do not wish to vote online, they will have the opportunity to vote in person with a paper ballot at the club on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, September 4th

  • Friday, September 6th

  • Wednesday, September 11th

  • Friday, September 13th

  • Wednesday, September 18th

  • Friday, September 20th

This ballot packet includes the ballot itself, additional information about the candidates, and an envelope which must be signed by the voting member on its exterior.

In the ballot portion of this message, the nominees for each office are listed with additional information about the candidates. This information is also available on the club website in the members section.

The election will conclude with the Fall Membership Meeting on September 20th, 2019, 6:30 p.m., when the votes will be tallied and certified by GTYC Secretary Sam Bender.
