Member Profile and Privacy
What is a Profile?
The GTYC maintains a record of each member and his/her family in the GTYC member database. This information is provided by the member upon application to the GTYC.
In addition to the normal data such as name, address, phone, email, etc., the record contains information about the member's interests and preferences.
The member may add to, or update his profile at any time. Members control the information other members and the general public can view. The website has very strong security measures in place to protect this informaiton.
To see your profile, Login and click on the [View Profile] link. The [My Profile] page will appear.
The very top section of the My Profile form lists a summary of the membership record; Membership level, status, date joined and renewal date. To update/change profile, the member clicks on the [Edit Profile] button.
You also can renew your membership from this page by clicking on the [Renew until 01 Mar 2013] link.
How Do Change my Member Profile and Privacy Settings?
Once you click on [Edit Profile] you will enter the page where you can modify your profile. Click on the [Save] button and the data is automatically updated in the GTYC member database.
Click on the [Privacy] link to change personal information settings.
This is the screen where you specify the fields that are visible to everyone or members only. If you are in the FBI witness protection program you can also hide your profile altogether by un-checking the [Allow to show profile] option.
